Job Description

Join our Coastal Dental Care Network Support Team!

Coastal Dental Care are a group of privately owned dental practices run by dentists. With over 300 employees and contractors across 18 locations from South Brisbane to Northern NSW we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care to our local community. The Role

Were looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Head Office team based in Southport with regular travel to our nearby practices. You will have a passion for the dental industry and great attention to detail. This role will support practice & Head Office communications with primary responsibility for optimising the operational efficiency and effectiveness of dental practices through strategic improvement initiatives onboarding and offboarding training and development initiatives.

This is a fulltime role worked over four days per week with flexibility required as the specific days may vary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training and Development of Practice Coordinators (PCs)
  • Maintain induction documentation and support PCs with the staff induction process of support staff and providers
  • Onboarding and offboarding of all support staff and providers
  • Give recommendations for operational improvement for practices in areas that have been identified by Management as requiring further development
  • Cultivate an environment that inspires and motivates the practice teams encouraging new ideas building confidence and encouraging teambased outcomes
  • Provide operational support at practices (inperson training)
  • Assist with fee level health fund and industry body management implementations as per Asana

About You

  • 3 years experience in a Practice Manager/Coordinator or 2IC role with experience in reception dental assisting and sterilisation
  • Bring proven expertise in best practices and confidently train team members in Dental 4 Windows
  • Welldeveloped problemsolving capabilities
  • Ability to build and develop effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication capability
  • Class C drivers licence
  • Willingness to work varied hours from time to time that align with the operating rhythms of the practice network
