The TruLaser Center 7030 is TRUMPFs most advanced laser cutting system and provides a one stop solution for autonomous cutting sorting and stacking of sheet metal parts. The TruLaser Center is the corner stone of the Integrated Cutting and Bending System that TRUMPF provides. The Field Service Engineer has a thorough understanding of the TruLaser Center and resolves operational and technical problems onsite for our customers. Close collaboration with our national and international support teams is a daily routine. The service team is based in the TRUMPF Smart Factory in Chicago that is a showcase of networked production solutions.
This is a 100 travel position that reports into our Farmington CT office.
Your new role: TRUMPF Field Service Engineer
National travel to install services troubleshoot and repair TRUMPF CNC fabricating machine tools at customer sites throughout the United States Canada and Mexico
Provide highquality technical service to customers to ensure optimal sheet metal machine performance.
Document customer machine information and technical conditions and make improvement suggestions.
Train customers to operate and/or service machines to ensure maximum productivity.
Act as a TRUMPF Service ambassador and work directly with customers during installations and repairs to enable their business success.
