Position Overview
We are recruiting for aSenior IT Systems Engineer to lead the design deployment and management of our IT infrastructure
Responsibilities
This role involves providing technical expertise optimizing system performance and ensuring the security and reliability of our IT systems. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of network server and storage technologies as well as experience in managing complex IT environments.
Required Qualifications
- Eight years demonstrated experience within the last 5 years on providing Tier2 or Tier3 level O&M support for an onpremise and cloudbased Windows and Linux environment of similar scope
- Two years demonstrated experience leading a team of IT professionals of similar scope and size
- Two years demonstrated experience within the last 5 years in understanding the fundamentals of networking technologies and how to apply them in an IT environment of similar scope and size
- Two years demonstrated experience within the last 5 in applying INFOSEC principles to an IT environment of similar scope and size
- Two years demonstrated experience within the last 10 years in participating in software development lifecycle activities
- Two years demonstrated experience within the last 10 year in using ITIL framework principles in an IT environment of similar scope and size
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob
Preferred Qualifications
- One year demonstrated experience in enterprise storage solutions
- One year demonstrated experience in Systems Mapping
- One year demonstrated experience in building Strategic Roadmaps
- One year demonstrated experience in architecting an enterprise Windows environment
- One year demonstrated experience in architecting a Linux environment
