Job Description
Head of Supply Chain
The CompanyOur client is a PrivateEquity backed manufacturer of industrial products. While historically family owned the company was acquired by a growthoriented PE fund that is looking to take the company to its next phase of growth and roughly double in size over the coming 12 years.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO the Head of Supply Chain will lead all the supply chain functions within the group with endtoend ownership. This role will be responsible for building and maturing the supply chain function including the teams processes tools and systems allowing the company to scale rapidly.
Key focus areas include:
- Planning
- Sourcing / Procurement
- Inventory Management
- Logistics & Distribution
This is an onsite role based out of Mississauga ON.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned supply chain executive with 10 years of work experience primarily within Operations and Supply Chain functions in a manufacturing environment. They will bring a track record of building within the constraints of a midmarket manufacturing company. They will be a bigpicture thinker with a visionary mindset and deep analytical capabilities to convert that vision into tangible plans for the function. Additionally they will have excellent people leadership skills with a keen eye for identifying and developing talent. Lastly s/he will be a high emotional intelligence teamplayer with skills to collaborate and influence other executive leaders while building meaningful relationships.
