Job Description

Position title: General Manager Human Resource & General Affairs Department: Human Resource and General Affairs Reports to: Managing Director Qualification: M.B. A. HR M.P.M. Education in labour laws Experience 12 and more years Job Purpose 1. Maintains and enhances human resources practices policies programs 2. Responsible for maintaining day to day administrative and personnel services in order to support organization 3 Monitoring General Human resources and General affairs activities Duties & Responsibilities 1. Manage the complete recruitment life cycle for sourcing the best talent 2. Training & Development and Performance Management 3. Provide guidelines and recommendations to management by preparing the HR & Admin policies system & procedures and proper implementation of it. 4. Maintain the Organization structure 5. Listen and resolve Employee Grievances counselling employees and supervisors. 6. Compensation Management and pay policy 7. ISO Implementation and Audit 8. Felicitating other department heads in people development of their team and advising them on organizations policies various HR policies procedures and employee benefits. 9. Training and development Succession planning Individual development plan 10. Oversee the analysis maintenance and communication of records required by internal and external customers 11. Supervise the office maintenance schedule for supplies equipment cafeteria monitoring housekeeping and security staff 12. Preparation and of contract with the various vendors 13. Handling Civic agencies vendors and consultants 14. Manages a productive industrial relations and environment with staff and unions through the sound administration of union agreements 15. Wage settlement and negotiating and coordinating with Labor Union for duties & responsibilities upgradation of the technical skills 16. Coordination of the consultative process coordination of legal advice and industrial advocacy 17. Managing and controlling the increasing costs of employee benefits while balancing the needs of the employees 18. Leads company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements 19. Protects the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations. Minimizes risk 20. Manages the companywide committees including the wellness training environmental health and safety activity and culture and communications 21. Keeps the Management informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of company goals and those that are not being addressed adequately at the line management level. 22. Matters pertaining to special assignments given by Management timely 23. Contract labour management and ensuring compliances Technical Skills 1. Knowledge of ISO standards 2. Sound knowledge of legal compliance and various laws Behavioural Skills 1. Effective communication skills 2. Cost Management 3. Team Collaboration 4. Planning & Organizing 5. Excellence 6.
