You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe NP will perform inpatient hospice visits at Shady Grove Hospital and also perform outpatient hospice visits in area nursing homes and private residences as directed by the hospice Medical Director. This Nurse Practitioner (NP) will support Frederick Health and Shady Grove Hospice services promoting high quality costeffective hospice care for patients served in collaboration with the interdisciplinary hospice care team.
This is a Part Time position with a schedule of Saturday and Sunday 8a 4:30p
Requirements:
Certification of completion from an approved program for Family Adult or AdultGerontology Nurse Practitioners
Be eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner by the Maryland State Board of Nursing
Have sufficient medical training to qualify legally and professionally to perform all demands placed upon them
At least 1 year of relevant working experience in Hospice Palliative Care or Oncology preferred.
Complex problem solving skills
Critical thinking with judgement and decisionmaking skills as well as excellent collaborative skills with physicians ancillary medical staff and others in the clinical setting
Excellent written verbal and computer skills as well as organization and time management skills.

Pay is based on experience skills and education. The pay range may also vary based on specialty if applicable. Salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
