Job Description
We are seeking a fulltime Inpatient Care Nursing Assistant responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care and assisting nursing staff and providers. In this role youll be a crucial part of patient care assisting nurses and ensuring a smooth transition for patients. From helping with blood testing to serving food with care youll play a key role in their wellbeing. On the administrative side youll document care keep things organized and contribute to quality improvement. Expect a dynamic schedule with shifts covering days nights weekends and holidays. About the Recovery Care Unit
At our surgical specialty hospital the 33bed Recovery Care Unit is a vital component for the continuation of care for our surgical patients needing an overnight stay. On average our patients stay one to two nights where our dedicated team prioritizes a patientcentered approach to care. As a smaller niche hospital we emphasize genuine relationships and a safe and respectful environment. Being physicianowned we rely heavily on wordofmouth referrals honoring the importance of our guiding principles: people progress and quality. Shifts: Three 12 hour shifts per week every third weekend and every third holiday.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work both 12hour day shifts and 12hour night shifts 7:00AM7:30PM and 7:00PM7:30AM). In a 6week schedule you can anticipate working 2 weeks of nights 6 shifts) and 4 weeks of days 12 shifts).
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Positivity a great work ethic and the ability to learn will help set you up for success!
- CNA certification preferred.
- BLS certification required; can be obtained upon hire.
- One plus year of nursing assistant experience can be helpful.
