Job Description
Our client a team of founders from Silicon Valley who have created successful mobile apps with over 650 million downloads have previously raised tens of millions of dollars in funding and have reached valuations and exits north of $300 million. They believe friendship is one of the most underappreciated human values that is important for a fulfilling life mental health and longevity. The mission is to make friendships more deep and meaningful for the next billion people. They are building a social app based on deep tech which uses AI ML and face recognition to provide a social experience for a wide audience.
They are looking for a talented ML Engineer to join the team.

Type: Remote fulltime
Start date: ASAP
Requirements:
- Experience deploying and maintaining ML/AI models in production for highscale consumer applications
- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals (supervised/unsupervised learning evaluation metrics overfitting etc.
- Strong experience in Python for ML workflows including libraries like PyTorch TensorFlow and scikitlearn
- Experience with modern generative models (e.g. LLMs diffusion models) and tools from 2025
- Experience in startups practical approach to delivering ML features agile/SCRUM workflow understanding of Lean Startups methodology MVP concepts hypothesis testing etcKnowledge of Git
- Proactive work selfmotivated autonomous
It would be great if you also have:
- Basic knowledge of Swift and CoreML to deliver ML features on the iOS platform
- Familiarity with recent advances in LLM finetuning prompt engineering RAG (retrieval augmented generation) and opensource models (e.g. Mistral LLaMA Mixtral etc.
- Higher education in computer science mathematics physics or a related field (MSc/PhD is a plus)
- Deep understanding of core algorithms and data structures clustering decision trees graphbased methods optimization techniques etc
- A link to a GitHub profile Kaggle ArXiv publications or opensource contributions
