Ideal Candidate:

Minimum one year food service experience or customer service . One to three years experience working in a healthcare food service environment is preferred. One to two years college level courses in nutrition can be substituted for healthcare food service experience

• High School Diploma or GED

• Support the Organizations Vision Values & Strategies.
• Serve as the departments customer relations personnel.
• Participate as a active team member for the department.
• Adhere to policies and procedures established by various hospital departmental environmental State and JCAHO regulations.
• Serve as the departments quality assurance personnel in regard to food monitoring.Act as information liaison between patient and dietitians.
• Record patient preference for meal preparation.
• Instruct production as to the specific item and quantity of each food item to prepare.
