We are working with a highly successful school in Sutton that is seeking a talented Lead Practitioner of English to join their team from September 2025.
About the Lead Practitioner role:
This exciting opportunity allows you to lead and inspire both students and colleagues to achieve excellence in English. As a Lead Practitioner you will play a key role in developing outstanding teaching practices across the department. This includes supporting curriculum planning delivering engaging lessons and mentoring other teachers to improve their practice.
In this Lead Practitioner of English role you will model exceptional teaching strategies provide coaching to colleagues and contribute to wholeschool initiatives that drive student progress. About You:
The ideal Lead Practitioner of English will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree.
- Have a strong track record of delivering excellent English lessons.

- Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support colleagues.
- Be committed to promoting high expectations for all students.
