3-4 months contract with a local authority
Job Purpose
- We are seeking an experienced Locum Senior Practitioner to join our team for a 3-4 month contract with the possibility of extension. The role will primarily involve working with adults in the community specifically in the South Locality Team making previous experience in adult social care essential.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Provide leadership and line management within the team.
- Support and guide work with adults and their carers or agencies utilizing a person-centered strength-based approach to assessment case management and review.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional practice through supervision review and development caseload management casework monitoring and consultation.
- Manage a small caseload of complex cases as required by the team.
- Keep management information systems up to date and accurate.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience in assessment case management and review.
- Extensive experience in taking minutes.
Essential Qualification Required
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
- Prior experience and confidence in Adult Safeguarding Enquiries Court Work Duty management and supervising/supporting staff.

- Working hours: 37 hours per week
- Business mileage provided at 45p per mile
