In addition the Center developed Moriah Media to produce theatrical documentaries to educate global audiences. Moriah has produced 17 documentaries to date two of which have received the Academy Award for best feature documentary The Long Way Home and Genocide.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic MMOT Technology/Security Supervisor to oversee the technical management and security of our MMOT bus and mobile technology operations. This critical role combines expertise in digital media systems technology management and security coordination to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and security protocols are followed. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining BrightSign video players overseeing content management and troubleshooting technical disruptions all while ensuring that video surveillance and security measures are seamlessly integrated into the operation of MMOT bus.
About You:
As the MMOT Technology/Security Supervisor you will lead technical projects collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors and ensure that systems remain secure functional and ready for deployment. Your leadership skills and technical expertise will be key in maintaining operational efficiency system security and the safety of all MMOT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Management & Technical Support:
- Oversee the uploading updating and maintenance of MMOT content ensuring all digital media software and presentations are current and fully functional.
- Manage and troubleshoot BrightSign video players and BrightAuthor software for content programming and management.
- Serve as the primary technical support contact for MMOT operations assisting staff educators and teams with hardware software and connectivity issues.
- Application & Software Oversight:
- Monitor and support software applications and integrations used within MMOT systems ensuring they function optimally.
- Troubleshoot technical disruptions and provide timely and effective solutions to maintain uninterrupted operation.
- Collaboration with Builders & Vendors:
- Liaise with builders and technology partners for the initial installation and system updates of MMOT hardware and software.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors for ongoing maintenance system upgrades and enhancements ensuring the systems stay current secure and futureready.
- Operational Readiness:
- Ensure MMOT systems are thoroughly tested and fully operational before deployment.
- Provide necessary training and documentation for internal staff on MMOT system operation and maintenance.
- Oversee the integration of lighting systems and other media technologies ensuring all components function together seamlessly.
- Security Coordination:
- Work closely with the SWC Security team to ensure all technological deployments align with security protocols and best practices.
- Oversee the integration of cameras on MMOT buses ensuring video feeds are securely connected to the onsite security system for realtime monitoring and incident response.
- Coordinate with the MOT team to manage and monitor security systems ensuring that all security measures are effectively implemented and maintained for MMOT operations.
- Ensure the security of hardware and software systems onboard the MMOT RVs conducting regular security checks and maintenance.
- Leadership & Project Management:
- Lead technical and security initiatives for MMOT RVs managing complex projects and ensuring successful and timely .
- Delegate tasks effectively manage team resources and maintain flexibility to handle changing operational needs.
- Maintain clear communication across teams and departments ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the process.
- Vendor & Risk Management:
- Manage vendor relationships ensuring external partners are meeting service level agreements and performance expectations.
- Identify and mitigate technologyrelated risks ensuring the longterm sustainability and security of MMOT systems.
- Oversee technological upgrades ensuring that transitions are handled smoothly and efficiently.
- Accessibility & Inclusivity:
- Ensure all technology solutions are accessible and inclusive providing an equitable user experience for all stakeholders including staff and visitors.
- Implement and monitor accessibility standards for all digital media systems ensuring compliance with accessibility guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in BrightSignOS BrightAuthor software and related digital signage systems.
- Strong background in HTML CSS and JavaScript for content programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing remote modem/router systems and integrating lighting systems with media players.
- Familiarity with security systems particularly the integration of cameras and video surveillance into mobile technology platforms.
- Ability to conduct thorough system tests and maintain high operational readiness for all MMOT technology.
- Working knowledge of fundamental networking protocols such as DHCP and TCP/IP along with experience in operating systems Windows macOS iOS and Android.
- Proficiency in modern multimedia trends
- Leadership & Communication:
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience (at least 2 years) in IT or related fields with the ability to manage teams delegate tasks and ensure efficient project completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of conveying technical information to nontechnical team members and stakeholders.
- Problemsolving abilities to troubleshoot issues adapt to project changes and keep operations running smoothly.
- Project & Vendor Management:
- Demonstrable experience in project management leading complex projects from inception through completion.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships ensuring alignment with project goals timelines and security requirements.
- Experience in identifying and mitigating technologyrelated risks ensuring system integrity and security.
- Security Awareness:
- Strong understanding of security protocols related to mobile technology systems and the integration of security measures such as video surveillance on mobile units.
- Ability to work collaboratively with security teams to align technology with broader security initiatives.
- Experience ensuring secure system access and remote monitoring for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with BrightSignOS and digital signage systems.
- Experience with interactive multimedia and mobile technology platforms.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles focusing on securing data and digital assets (even if not the primary focus of the role).
- Expertise in analytical skills evaluating system performance and implementing improvements for efficiency and security.
