Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients a West London based Family run Commercial Flooring Contractor with a particular focus upon the High End Office and Commercial Premises Fit Out Sector with their search for an additional member of their close knit team.
The Role will effectively be that of an office based Project Manager in the main and will involve a good degree of Estimating and Tendering work as well as negotiating with Suppliers Contractors and Colleagues and of course dealing closely with clients.
The role will require a confident person who can take on Projects and Contracts from day one and run with them working as part of a team but there is also immediate accountability for your own workload and of Getting the Job Done.
Callidus Estimation Software and Excel Spreadsheet (Used for Purchasing and cost control planning etc) are the Programs that our clients use on a day to day basis so the successful candidate will need to be confident in their operation specifically as well as more generally the full MS Office Suite and Outlook etc.
The ideal candidate will be someone from a Commercial Flooring background and who is confident in their ability to fit into a small team and offer excellent service to a demanding and diverse Client base. The Work is generally not site based as the company use Contractors to carry out the work on their behalf though as the need arises you will be capable of attending Site Meetings Measures etc in order to get the Estimate / Tender / Job Completed in a timely manner.
The role comes with all of the usual demands of a Flooring Project Manager / Estimator or Quantity Surveyor (QS) planning running the jobs ensuring materials and labour arrive as required and keeping a close eye on the costs etc. Our clients are looking additionally for someone who can confidently take on some of the more front of house selling and client Liaison duties too. A wide and all encompassing brief.

A Competitive Remuneration Package will be negotiated for the successful candidate in the region of 35 to 40k Plus Travel and Bonuses.
