About the role
WeWork India is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer II to join our dynamic technology team. In this role you will be instrumental in architecting implementing and maintaining machine learning solutions that will drive new product innovations and support key initiatives across technology platforms operational excellence and data management domains creating a firmwide impact.
Roles and responsibilities
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams such as software engineers product managers data scientists & business teams to identify opportunities for process improvements that can be solved using machine learning and generative AI.
The candidate should possess strong expertise in statistics mathematics and programming with the ability to confidently analyze organize and interpret large datasets to solve complex machine learning problems effectively.
Design develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms for various business applications.
Work on data preprocessing feature engineering model selection and performance evaluation.
Optimize and scale machine learning models for production ensuring high performance accuracy and low latency.
Monitor and maintain machine learning pipelines ensuring continuous improvement of deployed models.
Contribute to the development of APIs and integration of machine learning models with production systems.
Stay uptodate with the latest machine learning research tools and techniques to continually enhance your skillset and improve solutions.
Implement prompt engineering techniques to finetune and enhance LLMs for better performance and applicationspecific needs.
Experience and qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
24 years of handson experience in machine learning and data science in a production environment.
Strong proficiency in Python with expertise in PySpark and familiarity with libraries such as pandas TensorFlow PyTorch Scikitlearn etc.
Experience with large language models (LLMs) Prompt Engineering Techniques Langchain OpenAI SDK RAG system Vector DBs (Mandatory).
Experience with data preprocessing feature engineering and model evaluation techniques.
Handson experience with supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms (e.g. regression classification clustering etc..
Develop data pipelines to efficiently supply machine learning models with highquality data and build a feature store to enable reuse of commonly used features across projects.
Experience with big data tools such as Spark Hadoop or similar is a plus.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on practical implementation.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and drive product development and adoption.
Proven ability to adapt and learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
