Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain general cleanliness of bar bar area and the entire venue.
  • Properly setsup the bar stations prepares and restocks garnishes as directed by management.
  • Performs sidework and other opening/closing procedures.
  • Assists the bartenders to ensure a high level of quality and prompt guest service.
  • Assists with bussing any dishes from the bar top.
  • Responsible for keeping all liquor displays and shelving organized and maintaining par levels.
  • Reports all breakage damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
  • Follow all SNHD food and sanitation guidelines.
  • Must have Food Handler Safety Card in Nevada .
  • Must have Alcohol Awareness Card.
  • Updates knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
  • Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all employees.
  • All other duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Must have at least one year of prior barback experience.
  • Candidates must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.
  • Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays.

Wages are based on the expected average earnings of regular hourly rate plus tips for a fulltime employee.
Compensation: $30.00 $40.00 per hour

Before the James Beard Award and the Gourmet Magazine review Lotus of Siam was a small little hole in the wall located in Commercial Center in Las Vegas. November 1999 was the month Chef Saipin and her husband Bill took over Lotus of Siam. Since then Thai food became an adventure for those willing to step out of their comfort zones for Asian Cuisine. Chef Saipins distinct cooking has been passed down from generations after generations from both her grandmothers and her husbands grandmothers. Her northern style cooking has opened America into the Northern world of Thailand away from the Bangkok style of sweet and tang. The northern menu consists of hearty herbs and spices along with Thai style stews and coconutless curries. Through her set menus our guest can dine and enjoy recipes from over 100 years in the Chutima family.
