Job Description
Hardware Engineer Intern
As a Hardware Engineer Intern you would be part of a team of experienced engineers. Your involvement will be around
- Testing and measurement technology.
- You will be involved in the process of design and layout of highfrequency PCBs
- Assisting hardware FPGA and software engineers in troubleshooting hardware and system level issues
Additionally you will gain exposure to manufacturing and operations through the process of new product developmentand assist with engineers in the process of bring up the new product in operation.
Location of work
Work is expected to be inperson Chestnut Ridge NY during the Summer months.
Qualifications
- Pursuing BSEE or equivalent or Pursuing MSEE or equivalent
- Knowledge of digital and analog electronics.
- Some experience in using electronics test equipment like oscilloscopes vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers etc.
- Python or similar scripting capability to analyze data.
- Knowledge of sampling theory data converters signal integrity and power integrity would be a plus.
- Some knowledge in using design simulation analysis tools like PSpice Ansys tools MatLab or other software tools would be a plus
- Some knowledge in using Excel or other analysis tools like MatLab would be a plus
- Must be an inquisitive problem solver and a proactive thinker
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must have good communication skills

Salary Range:
$49300.00$65700.000Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
