Vetspire is a fastgrowing SaaS company revolutionizing veterinary practice management. ** This position will ideally be based in Austin TX out of our headquarters office and be hybrid in office 2days a week. Candidates based in other geographies across the U.S. will also be considered for a remote role. **

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Under the guidance of the Implementation Director the Consulting Specialist will lead and facilitate the implementation of largescale projects including university systems and enterpriselevel organizations for Vetspire. This role is integral to driving operational efficiency by developing and standardizing best practices.
The Consulting Specialist will oversee the endtoend software onboarding process for complex and highprofile clients. Responsibilities include training veterinary professionals both remotely and onsite across the North American market. The position combines expertise in IT and consulting serving as a key liaison between the implementation and account management teams. From remote training sessions to onsite transitions you will serve as a project manager trainer and resourceful problemsolver.
As a product expert you will guide clients in leveraging the software effectively recommending customized configurations based on organizational and industry best practices. This role demands strong leadership and consulting skills to ensure successful implementations that meet the needs of Vetspires clients.
The position requires approximately 50 travel and 50 remote work with a flexible schedule based on project demands. You will collaborate closely with Software Implementation Specialists other trainers hospital staff division leadership and the broader Technology Services Team to support the diverse requirements of VIP customers.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Veterinary Industry Knowledge
    • Understanding veterinary workflows including patient management billing and medical recordkeeping.
    • Familiarity with common challenges faced by veterinary practices (e.g. staffing compliance client communication).
    • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (e.g. AAHA AVMA guidelines).
  • Software and Technology Expertise
    • Deep understanding of veterinaryspecific software (e.g. practice management systems electronic medical records inventory management tools).
    • IT fundamentals including software installation integration and troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with cloudbased technologies and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Project Management
    • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum).
    • Experience managing endtoend software implementation projects.
    • Ability to track milestones manage timelines and deliver outcomes.
  • Customer Onboarding and Training
    • Understanding of adult learning principles and effective training techniques.
    • Experience in creating userfriendly training materials and workshops.
    • Knowledge of change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    • Ability to analyze client data and provide actionable insights.
    • Understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) for veterinary practices.

    • Strong verbal and written communication for engaging with clients and teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the endtoend implementation of veterinary software for complex and highprofile clients including enterpriselevel organizations and universities.
  • Oversee all aspects of project delivery including planning and postimplementation support.
  • Develop and manage detailed project timelines deliverables and milestones to ensure timely and successful rollouts.
  • Identify potential risks or roadblocks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during implementation ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Assess client needs workflows and objectives to deliver tailored software solutions and optimize efficiency with Vetspires best practices in mind.
  • Provide strategic consulting to veterinary professionals offering recommendations based on industry best practices and software capabilities.
  • Build and maintain longterm client relationships to foster trust and loyalty.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize your time essential to role
  • Facilitates and leads training via webinar inperson meetings and other online coursework
  • Ensures accountability in completion of selfpaced training modules
  • Assist in developing SOPs online training or handbooks to drive operation efficiency
  • Facilitates project planning meetings and enables communication of project status to operational leaders & managers
  • Assists with change management when migrating groups and or universities to Vetspire and coding structure.
  • Evaluates practice needs develop systems that support business processes and effectively communicate to managers on required product development

  • Manage travel expenses in accordance with company policy
TRAVEL AND HOURS OF WORK
  • Typical travel of every other week: 45 consecutive days. 5060 annually
  • Some travel could be required outside of typical business hours depending on group and university operating hours.
  • Working/travel hours has the potential to extend into weekend
