Lipscomb seeks a lecturer who is qualified to teach a rotation of undergraduate philosophy courses and a rotation of graduate courses in applied artificial intelligence. The undergraduate courses will include but are not limited to: introduction to philosophy logic modern philosophy metaphysics and applied ethics. The graduate coursesin artificialintelligence would include but not be limited to courses on ethics and the societal impact of artificial intelligenceand courses facilitating student applications of artificial intelligence to a broad range of case studies.
A Ph.D in philosophy is preferred. The candidate will be expected to teach three undergraduate philosophy courses per semester and two graduate courses in applied artificialintelligence each semester.
