Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Summary:
Join a leader in the home health care and nurse staffing industry. Our mission is to care for the families and clients we serve.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled wound care in a home setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering quality care to patients in their homes ensuring proper wound management and assessment. This position requires a commitment to providing care twice per week for at least three months.

One to one patient care with a customized Plan of Care for the patient

JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Specialty: Wound Care
- As a registered nurse wound care (RN) youll treat patients who have acute or chronic wounds including chemical or thermal burns ulcers skin tears and diabetic foot wounds
- Your responsibilities may include evaluating debriding disinfecting treating and bandaging wounds as well as administering antibiotics and pain medications
- Youll play an essential role in providing moral support and education for your patients
Attention to Detail: Use excellent nursing skills to observe interpret and monitor patients condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes acting as the patient advocate
Interpersonal Skills: Make it great by working collaboratively with an exceptional team to help meet positive client care outcomes
Communication: Discuss health care with patients and listen to their concerns
Skilled care: Deliver direct skilled client care under the supervision of an RN in an open and positive manner
Compassion: Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill with a passionate heart
Compliance: Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local state and federal laws where we always do the right thing do what we say and delivery consistently on our brand promise
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
Current TB (within past year)
Current Physical (within past year)
Current CPR
Current and unrestricted RN CA license
At least 1 year experience as an RN with wound careexperience
Current California Drivers License
Proof of eligibility to work in the US
Reliable car / auto insurance
Successfully pass annual competency checks
Clean background and criminal record and must pass drug test
