Job Description
Description
- Main Duties are to work in PC Developing team for new model events. This includes not only prototype sample order to our factory but also delivery schedule adjustment shipping arrangements and design/specification confirmation etc.
- This position also responsible to maintain and update/enter customer forecast data into our systems. Some night meetings will occur as needed basis with overseas factories to communicate various issues arise.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Project Management Delivery QA Warehouse Operations) to communicate new/past model parts design level changes update the internal tracking documentation.
- Update BCP production plan weekly to support our Bridge Production. Upload ASN whenever GPP ship prototype samples.
- Work with other Planners and Managers to help create/facilitate any group kaizen items that will benefit the team and SEWS.
- Some night meetings are required. This is as needed and is to communicate issues as they arise with overseas factories.
- Bachelors degree along with 13 years experience in procurement or related experience preferred
- Experience working in a Japanese company (in Japan or the US) preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite (to include Excel Access) skills required
- Math application skills required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Speaking other language such as Japanese Spanish Vietnamese are great asset. (oral/written)
