Responsibilities
Radar Engineer Junior Level
This position offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to learn grow and gain handson experience in radar system design development and testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or a related field with a particular interest in radar technology and signal processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of radar systems including hardware components software and algorithms.
- Support senior engineers in radar signal processing including tasks like filtering pulse compression and target detection.
- Help with the integration and testing of radar systems to ensure they meet performance specifications.
- Conduct simulations and assist in the evaluation of radar system performance.
- Support the creation of technical documentation such as test reports system specifications and user manuals.
- Participate in system calibration and field testing activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in radar systems working closely with senior engineers.
- Stay current on the latest radar technology trends and assist in implementing new ideas or methodologies.
Qualifications

Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years w/o a degree
Minimum 3 years with Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Physics or a related field
Minimum 1 years with Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Physics or a related field
- TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a poly
- Strong foundation in signal processing electromagnetics and radar systems.
- Familiarity with radar simulation tools (e.g. MATLAB Simulink) and basic programming languages (e.g. C Python).
- Basic understanding of radar principles and technology.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Ability to work effectively in both teambased and independent settings.
