Description
MedVet Cleveland is seeking a daytime ER doctor/hospitalist for our growing ER and multispecialty hospital. The ideal candidate will be internshiptrained and/or have 35 years of experience in a primary emergency or emergency/specialty hospital.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing inpatients across all specialties (internal medicine medical oncology ophthalmology and surgery).
- Managing inhouse transfers between the emergency service and specialty departments and the associated communication and decisionmaking with clients and referral partners.
- Managingnew emergency appointments and transfers from referring partners.
- Updatingclients and referral partners on patientstatus.
- Supporting the specialists with procedures patient recoveries records and communication to both clients and referral partners.
- Working with the hospital leadership teamto improve workflow and standard operating procedures.
- Contributing to the ongoing training of clinical team members.
