Machine Operative

Job Role

Our client based near St Neots have an exciting position available for a machine operative.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly company who are rapidly growing offering a varied role where the chosen candidates will be given full specific training and future progression.

Job Responsibilities

  • Running machinery to meet targets
  • Quality checking the product
  • Packaging the product
  • Ensuring that materials used are correct and according to the specifications.
  • Adhere to production process according to the instructions given
  • Mechanically minded and able to fault find and assemble machinery.
  • Always acting safely and within the site rules

Person Specification

  • Operation of machinery (once fully trained).
  • Selfmotivated and able to work to a high standard of accuracy
  • Maintain high quality standards in all aspects of the work
  • Strong Team Player and able to work on own initiative
  • Previous printing experience advantageous
  • Adhere to company health and safety policies
  • Good communication skills

Hours of Work and Pay

  • 7am 4pm Mon to Friday 42.5hr week)
  • Salary up to 28k
