Were looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Inverse Problems & PINNs) to join our team in afulltime permanent capacity. In this role you will contribute to cuttingedge solutions for semiconductor metrology solutions contributing to research breakthroughs and productionscale implementations. What will you do
  • Design and Develop Solutions for Inverse Problems:
    Conceptualize and implement robust ML pipelines to handle inverse problems including parameter estimation model calibration and uncertainty quantification.

  • PhysicsInformed Neural Networks (PINNs):
    Develop and refine architectures leveraging physical laws and partial differential equations (PDEs) to guide network training and improve generalization.

  • Research & Prototyping:
    Stay updated with stateoftheart methods in inverse problems scientific machine learning and computational modeling. Conduct rapid prototyping and exploratory research to validate new ideas.

  • Model Deployment & Scalability:
    Integrate ML models into scalable productionready systems. Work closely with other data scientists and software engineers to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance.

  • Collaboration & Mentorship:
    Collaborate with crossfunctional teams of scientists data engineers and domain experts. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

What is expected of you
  • Education:

    • Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science Applied Mathematics Physics Engineering or related field.
    • Strong background in numerical methods PDEs and highperformance computing is highly desirable.
  • Experience & Technical Skills:

    • Machine Learning & Deep Learning: 5 years of professional experience applying advanced ML methods to scientific or quantitative problems.
    • Inverse Problems & PINNs: Handson experience with PINNs and inverse modeling techniques including but not limited to PDEconstrained optimization and gradientbased methods.
    • Programming Languages & Libraries: Proficiency with Python TensorFlow/PyTorch NumPy and related libraries for numerical computation.
    • Parallel Computing & HPC: Familiarity with GPU/TPU acceleration distributed training and parallelized computing techniques.
    • Software Development Practices: Experience with CI/CD version control (Git) and agile methodologies.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent problemsolving abilities and strong analytical thinking.
    • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
    • Proven track record of project ownership from concept to deployment.
