Job Description

Candidate must be fully authorized to work in the US. Visa transfer/sponsorship not available.

Location: Candidate MUSTcurrently reside within commuting distance of Dearborn MI

Ford Motor Company requires Project Analyst services in the Advanced Driver Assist System department within Electrical and Electronic Systems Engineering. The responsibilities of this position are to manage software development activities for the DAT2.0 project ensuring alignment with Fords Product Development Processes tracking software changes resolving issues and maintaining dashboards with key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in automotive embedded software project management strong data analysis and communication skills and proficiency in Jira SQL and other project management tools with a proactive teamoriented approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Software development activities on the DAT2.0 project per Fords Product Development Processes
  • Understand the gives and gets from the different teams working on DAT2 both Ford and supplier teams and incorporate into workplan
  • Support Software Change Control Process
  • Manage the closure of Software related issues
  • Maintain a project dashboard along with key performance indicators
  • Develop data visualization documents and presentations for senior management
  • Review and track the progress of the Ford and suppliers teams against the DAT2 workplan
  • Create project plans to support GPDS timing for the main DAT2 programs and manage the SW Feature/Function implementation plan
Required:
  • Bachelors degree in Software Electrical Mechanical Aerospace or Controls Engineering
  • 2 years experience in Software Project Management in the automotive embedded domain
  • Knowledge of Jira and JQL or any SQL language
  • Outgoing Positive CanDo Attitude!
  • Attention to detail and data analysis capability
  • Experience working as part of an engineering team
  • Strong presentation and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Adept at collecting compiling analyzing and presenting data to Management
  • Proficiency with software tools such as; Excel PowerPoint MS Project SharePoint etc.
Preferred:
  • 3 years embedded HW/SW development experience
  • Understanding of Fords product development processes including software development and release requirements
  • Understanding of advanced driver assistance systems
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Detailed knowledge of Ford Motor Company
