Job Description
Required Skill set: (Please dont apply if you do not have these skills and experience)
Proven experience as a Data Engineer
Familiarity with realtime data processing and analytics.
Strong proficiency in Python programming for data engineering tasks. Experience using Python libraries and frameworks.
Strong handson experience with realtime data streaming technologies such as AWS Kinesis Apache Kafka Apache Flink or similar technologies.
Solid understanding of SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g. Aurora).
Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g. Amazon Redshift Snowflake).
Experience with data lake and Lakehouse concepts and tools (e.g. Apache Iceberg Hive etc).
Knowledge of data modeling ETL processes and data integration best practices.
At least 5 to 6 yearsof total experience and a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience with the above skills.
Familiarity with Agile Development principles
Experience with software engineering fundamentals including objectoriented design data structures dependency injection testable code and algorithms.
Experience with software engineering tools such as Eclipse Git and others.
Able to write clean maintainable code and read code created by others.
Highly collaborative fast learner willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
Enthusiasm for learning and experimenting with latest trends and advancements in realtime data engineering and analytics technologies.
What it takes:
Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience
Software Development experience
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong demonstrated analysis and problemsolving skills.
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to implement instrumentation to gather businessspecific metrics around consumer usage patterns.
