Job Description
The MKTG Sport & Entertainment Social & Influencer Team is looking for someone to join our fastgrowing content team. As the Social Trainee you will ideate produce and execute engaging social content that resonates with fans and aligns with our clients social strategy. Through extensive research creative ideation and indepth immersion across social platforms you will gain handson insight and understanding of the social media discipline through a focus on sports and entertainment sponsorships.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Concept and present shortform social video concepts that ladder back to brands overall sponsorship strategy specific focus on Reels and TikToks
- Research and audit channels and sports/culture social conversations to identify relevant trends and opportunities for branded content; develop POVs to share with team and clients
- Support copywriting needs specifically focused on social copy
- Assist in planning organizing and routing content calendars for social programs
- Support client social reporting and develop optimization strategies based on Goals
- Support influencer marketing programs; including research on talent recommendations and content ideas for talent briefing
- Stay informed of the latest mobile editing tools ability to produce mobile content a plus (CapCut within social platforms)
- Some travel (including weekend travel) may be required based on account needs
QUICK FACTS:
- Program start date: July 7 2025
- This role requires 34 days each week on location in Charlotte NC along with other days as needed.
- This application deadline is April 14th 2025 at 4pm Eastern.
- You will report to someone more senior on the team.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a fulltime basis. Employmentbased visa sponsorship (including H1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
Qualifications
- We are seeking a candidate who is a passionate sports fan and keeps up with social conversations/culture
- Ability to think creatively and pitch new outofthebox social concepts to clients
- You are vocal articulate and comfortable with copywriting
- Comfortable editing content across social platforms (Instagram TikTok etc.
- You think creatively and understand culture
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple deadlines
Additional information
The hourly pay range for this position is $19.23 per hour). The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience knowledge skills and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
