Job Description
At Mad Science we are having a blast! We pay you to have fun! Build and fly rockets demonstrate lasers explore the states of matter using dry ice and help children create slime and other polymers. You will inspire the next generation of scientists through our innovative activities that show kids what science is really about.

Job Summary
- We are currently looking for an energetic individual to join our growing team to conduct exciting science programs for elementary and preschool aged students. You do NOT need to be a certified teacher nor do you need to be a science major. (If you are this opportunity is an excellent addition to your resume. Responsibilities
- Facilitating a 4090 minute science enrichment program using a preset curriculum where we prioritize safety respect and FUN! Group sizes of 1530
- Ensuring students on roster arrive and are dismissed safely before and after the program for clubs
- Ensuring equipment is picked up taken care of and properly used and packed up after each program
- Each session is a highenergy part entertainment part education handson program with various topics
- Enjoy teaching young children the art of science!
Qualifications
- Some experience working with groups 8 of children (preferably aged 412
- Generally available MonFri between 7:30am and 6pm (you will have your schedule 2 weeks in advance or more) we have some flexibility here.
- Must have a reliable car
- At least 2 years of college or equivalent education
- Ability to perform duties with little to no supervision
- Have a fun & outgoing personality
Optional Qualification
- Experience performing. A stand out candidate will have the ability to or potential to lead large scale stage performances for up to 300 students with proper training

Compensation and Advantages
- Starting event pay ranges from $25$37.50/hr based on type of event
- GUARANTEED work of at least $1500/month (paid even during holidays and when less work is available)
- Mileage pay: 120 $0.225/mile (federal rate .42 2174 $0.425/mile (federal rate .22 $0.625/mile (federal rate) for trips over 75 miles (optional)
- Flexible hours we can easily book around your other commitments with notice
- 3 Simple IRA match plan available
Compensation: $25.00 $50.00 per hour
