TPF Recruitment Kents leading accountancy practice recruitmentagency is currently supporting a highly reputable firm of charteredaccountants in Dartford who are seeking a motivated and dynamic individual tojoin their tax team. Training and support will be provided to further developexisting tax knowledge.
We are looking for a Tax Advisor who can provide tax adviceacross a wide variety of sectors and taxes. The successful candidate will havethe opportunity to liaise with HMRC draft reports and letters of adviceprepare calculations and provide support to Directors and Partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising and corresponding with HMRC regardingclearance applications enquiries etc.
- Drafting reports and letters of advice forvarious tax advisory issues
- Preparing calculations to support advice
- Liaising with clients and attending meetingswith other team members
- Training and reviewing the work of more juniormembers of staff
- Providing support to Directors and Partners inthe Tax team
Examples of Work:
- Advice and implementation of corporatereconstructions investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS staff incentive schemes
- Advising ownermanaged businesses regardingremuneration planning succession planning
- Preparation of research & development(R&D) claims VAT returns SDLT returns
- Advising individuals regarding IHT planning andCGT mitigation
Requirements
Requirements:
- CTA qualified or ACA/ACCA qualified
- Experience with corporate taxes is essential; experience in other areas of tax is beneficial
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Excellent teamwork and organisational skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
