Job Summary:
The LCM Project Manager in the Facility Professional Services (FPS) division manages highimpact building projects on Washingtons historic Capitol Campus. Responsibilities include overseeing all phases of project deliveryplanning design budgeting construction and closeoutwhile collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
The LCM Project Manager in the Facility Professional Services (FPS) division manages highimpact building projects on Washingtons historic Capitol Campus. Responsibilities include overseeing all phases of project deliveryplanning design budgeting construction and closeoutwhile collaborating with diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections and develop project scopes schedules and budgets.
- Oversee project phases including planning design permitting construction and closeout.
- Monitor project budgets expenditures and compliance with capital allocations.
- Review and approve projectrelated documents (invoices amendments change orders).
- Coordinate communication plans and stakeholder engagement for projects.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure alignment with master plans and strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in architecture engineering or construction management (or equivalent experience yearforyear).
- 4 years of professional experience in architectural/engineering design or facility construction.
- Skills:
- Ability to adapt to changing environments build relationships with stakeholders and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Working knowledge of design principles construction methods public works planning and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in Lean management safety protocols and capital budget development.
- Knowledge of historic preservation environmental standards SEPA processes and LEED/ZeroEnergy Building principles.
- Proficiency in GIS AutoCAD CMMS and dispute resolution strategies.
