The position is a fulltime permanent contract 37.5 hours per week) with flexible location options. Trusts and Tax Solicitor Role and Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Partners in the department to assist with a caseload of trust settlements trust administration and associated specialist tax advice and playing an integral part in the Private Client team delivering on agreed cases sourcing new opportunities and supporting the overall profile of the team.
- Proactively attracting work according to the firms needs whilst delivering on individual targets with minimal supervision.
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and building appropriate relationships with clients and adhering to agreed quality procedures and management systems.
- Undertaking and delivering work in a commercially effective manner.
- Strong legal skills in a Private Client setting. with demonstrable practical experience ideally a minimum of 3 years PQE.
- Responsible for a broad and varied caseload including creating settlements managing and administering trusts drafting relevant supplementary trust documentation and providing specialist tax advice during the trust administration period.
- Proactive and passionate about career development.
- Working knowledge of case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
