Quality Management Nurse Part Time

In this vital role Quality Management Nurse will be part of a small team dedicated to supporting the many different Riverside programs with the goal of continuously improving quality across every Riverside division for all persons served.
The Quality Management Nurse will:
- audit the medical records of our individuals living with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and/or Acquired Brain Injuries
- provide guidance on medical issues to program directors and nurses working in the field
- ensure regular review of health safety and infection control policies
- assist in investigations involving medical issues
- provide Medication Administration Program policy support to managers of MAP certified programs
- provide medical protocol trainings to new employees if needed
- fill the role of Riverside schools nurse
Schedule: Part Time 20 hours per week flexible hybrid schedule; must be available for weekly Tuesday QM team meeting

Required Skills
- Ability to offer guidance to nurses and other employees on Medication Administration Program (MAP) policy
- Highlevel verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer fluency including Microsoft Office
- Valid drivers license and regular access to a reliable vehicle
Required Experience
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse required; must be in good standing with the Board of Registration of Nursing
- Three to five years of nursing experience
- Experience with training
- Completion of the MDPH approved MAP Train the Trainer program
