Job Description
Key Responsibilities:Install configure and upgrade SAS software components across various environments (development test production).Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of SAS applications.Manage SAS metadata server application server and related services.Perform regular system maintenance patch management and updates.Implement security best practices including user access management rolebased permissions and audit compliance.Troubleshoot and resolve SASrelated issues including performance bottlenecks connectivity problems and errors.Automate routine tasks using SAS scripts and other scripting languages (e.g. Shell Python).Collaborate with data analysts developers and IT teams to support SASbased projects.Maintain documentation for SAS environment configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.Support SAS upgrades migrations and disaster recovery planning.Preferred Skills:SAS Certified Administrator (or relevant SAS certification).Experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible Puppet).Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.Experience with performance tuning and capacity planningStrong knowledge of SAS 9.x SAS Viya and related technologies.Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.Experience with database management systems (e.g. Oracle SQL Server Teradata).Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus.Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
