The newly refurbished Glasgow Marriott is a wellestablished hotel offering outstanding service and facilities in the heart of Glasgow. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated PartTime Sales and Marketing Executive to join our vibrant team. In this role you will focus on social media management marketing tasks and sales research to drive growth and elevate our hotels presence in the market.
This role is contracted for 24 hours per week spread across 3 working days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Develop and implement effective social media strategies to boost our hotels online presence. Create engaging content manage social media accounts and engage with followers to build a strong and loyal community.
- Sales Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities. Schedule appointments for the sales team to pursue new leads.
- Content Creation: Design and produce highquality content including posts stories videos and graphics that aligns with our hotels brand and marketing goals.
- Client Engagement: Assist in identifying and engaging potential clients through digital channels and social media platforms. Respond to inquiries providing detailed information on our offerings.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns that promote the hotels services and special offers. Monitor performance and adjust strategies to ensure maximum impact.
- Reporting: Track and report on KPIs related to social media performance and sales activities. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure alignment between social media efforts and broader business objectives. Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Skills & Experience:
- Sales & Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in sales and marketing ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Social Media Proficiency: Strong understanding of social media platforms and tools (Instagram Facebook Twitter LinkedIn etc..
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and interact with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Research & Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct indepth market research and analyze data to identify opportunities and trends.
- Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging onbrand content that resonates with our audience.
- SelfMotivation: Ability to work independently manage your time effectively and stay motivated in a parttime role.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and an attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment with changing priorities.
