Mixlab the fastgrowing veterinary compounding pharmacy is hiring a Facilities Associate to help maintain a safe clean and organized work environment for employees in our LA Pharmacy. The Facilities Associate will play a key role in supporting a bestinclass work environment by finding ways to surprise and delight our employees through workplace enhancements and amenities. This position reports directly to our Supply Chain Manager.
This is a fulltime hourly role working onsite at our LA Pharmacy. This role will be split between Facilities 6 hours per shift) and Care Responsibilities 2 hrs per shift).
Hours of Operation are MondayFriday: 8AM6PM PDT Saturday: 8AM4:30PM PDT. Scheduled shifts may begin earlier or extend later based on the needs of the pharmacy.
Responsibilities:
Facilities Responsibilities
Maintain a first class work environment ensuring our Los Angeles pharmacy lab offices and break rooms are safe and clean
Keep kitchen well stocked with snacks beverages and other supplies
Organize lab and office supply inventory.
Work with lab associates to keep designated storage areas clean and organized.
Maintain and improve safety and security protocols including but not limited to key card management emergency planning and supervising vendor visits.
Coordinate and manage cleaning and maintenance services and serve as the main point of contact regarding facilities related issuesManage routine upkeep of the facility including but not limited to replacing filters conducting minor repairs checking fire extinguishers and overseeing landscaping
Manage work order requests with contractors and the building property managers to ensure problems are resolved quickly
Acts as liaison between Mixlab and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems
Organizing and handling all processing related supplies
Assist in office design projects such as seating configurations assembling office furniture expanding break room amenities or participating in expansion planning for future locations
Provide support for office meetings and events including but not limited to participation in event planning and setup catering coordination meeting and orientation setup and gift distributionAct as the liaison between Mixlab and the parking facility
Prepare customer packaging with toys and inserts daily and pack orders as needed
Cross train as needed to support other Pharmacy teams
Care/Customer Service Responsibilities
Assist with remote Customer Care messages for a portion of each day as needed
Serve as point person for visitors and customer pick ups and contact customers regarding outstanding pick ups
Assist with ad hoc customer reports as needed
About You:
High School Diploma or GED
At least 1 year of experience in a fast paced work environment
Prior experience in office/facilities coordination
Positive attitude
Must be able to come on site daily
Ability to navigate various platforms on a computer and cell phone
Works with a sense of urgency
Can prioritize and problem solve
Must be punctual with good attendance
Keen eye for detail. Interest or experience in interior design a plus.
Physical requirements:
Ability to lift fifty 50 pounds
Moving lifting or carrying boxes
Ability to stand for extended periods
$22 $24 an hour
