Titan Technologies LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced selfdirected Data Architect to support the Army Data and Analytics Platform contract in Newport News VA. As a member of our team you will help to assist the Army in a full range of program/product management and administration financial technical and business transformation. This position is located in Newport News VA.
The Data Architect Designs and builds databases for data storage or processing. Develops strategies for warehouse implementation data acquisition and access and data archiving and recovery. Builds data models and defines the structure attributes and nomenclature of data elements. May evaluate new data sources for adherence to the organizations quality standards and ease of integration.
The Senior Data Architect will lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions for the Army Training Information System (ATIS). The candidate will create robust data models manage data integration and ensure compliance with DoD standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop logical and physical data models to support ATIS objectives.
- Design data solutions for data warehousing ETL processes and realtime analytics.
- Oversee data integration between ATIS and other Army systems.
- Implement metadata management and data cataloging tools.
- Ensure data solutions comply with DoD and RMF standards.
- Implement encryption masking and access controls to secure sensitive data. Optimization: Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Monitor data pipelines and resolve performance bottlenecks.
Required:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science Information Systems Business or similar
- 10 years of experience in data architecture integration and modeling
- AWS Certified: Data Analytics or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer.
- Proficiency in SQL Python and ETL tools. Experience with cloudbased data platforms (AWS or Azure).
Preferred:
- Masters degree in a related field
Clearance:
