Job Description

Job Title: Shop Foreman
Location: Wolfchase Hyundai Memphis TN
Job Type: Fulltime

About Us:
Wolfchase Hyundai is a leading dealership in Memphis TN providing exceptional customer service and topquality vehicles. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to join our team. As a Shop Foreman you will play a key role in managing the service department ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in the repair and maintenance of vehicles.

Position Overview:
The Shop Foreman will oversee the daytoday operations of the service shop supervising technicians and ensuring that service work is completed accurately on time and in line with Hyundais standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills automotive knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of automotive technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Perform diagnostic and repair work on vehicles as necessary.
  • Ensure all service work is completed in compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Assist in training and mentoring technicians to improve their skills.
  • Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and order shop supplies and tools as needed.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure clear communication with customers regarding service status and issues.
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints or issues related to service.
  • Monitor shop productivity and work quality providing feedback to team members.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed including time tracking and payroll.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or technical degree preferred).
  • 5 years of experience in automotive repair with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems diagnostics and repair techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ASE certifications are a plus (preferred).
  • Ability to work with dealership management and technicians to ensure smooth operations.
