Job Description
H.C. Muddox joined Pacific Coast Building Products in 1980 and now supplies a large distributor network with clay products that include standard face brick thin brick flue liners pavers pool coping and structural brick. H.C. Muddox also offers custom shapes sizes and colors in a range of products.
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Plant Manager this position is responsible for auditing production totals reporting material consumption; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity Safety Respect Customer Focus Quality Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Reviews production requirements daily.
Maintain and updates necessary production documentation.
Generates daily production reports for each operation detailing efficiency and downtime; publishes production statistics.
Assists with monthly inventory reconciliation including finished goods and raw materials.
Organizes and maintains clean and orderly work areas.
Promotes and advances safety and overall production efficiency.
Assists in any research or special projects as needed.
Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Regular attendance is required and work overtime as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
High School Diploma or G.E.D or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
On the job training experience is required to be able to perform duties.
Requires thorough knowledge of production processes and raw materials.
Occupational hazards and related safety precautions.
Safe work practices.
Perform manual labor.
Operating small hand and power tools and other related equipment.
Requires excellent written and oral communication mathematical and problemsolving skills.
Requires effective application of professional interpersonal skills.
Applicable federal state and local laws codes and regulations.
Interpret and apply policies procedures codes laws and regulations.
Regular attendance is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Frequently required to use hands to finger handle or feel; Reach with hands and arms; Talk and listen; Stand walk and sit.
Occasionally required to bend at the waist; Lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Standing walking sitting talking/listening climbing or balancing stooping kneeling crouching or crawling reaching with hands and arms.
