Job Description
C&C Boiler Sales and Service Inc. is seeking a qualified Service Technician to join our team. We specialize in power plant heating mechanical contracting and industrial products including packaged boilers industrial burners heat exchangers and other boiler plant equipment for various applications. C&C Boiler provides new product sales service parts technical support testing and training throughout Virginia West Virginia North Carolina and South Carolina.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment to identify and diagnose operational problems
- Perform repairs replace gaskets and miscellaneous controls & parts
- Perform annual maintenance inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair burners all manufactures
- Install new lowemissions burners
- Retrofit boiler controls including PLC microprocessor and instrumentation component/systems
- Commission troubleshoot and adjust combustion on a variety of burners and boilers
- Document parts required for replacement & repair and provide detailed written documentation outlining services rendered
- Request materials needed to complete tasks within company guidelines and budgets
- Drive to multiple locations and transport materials to and from specific destinations (vehicle provided)
- Submit electronic paperwork daily

- Salary Range: $75000$150000 DOE to include overtime compensation

- 3 years of boiler installation and maintenance experience
- The ability to LOTO drain fill operate troubleshoot inspect and test hot water and steam boilers preferred
- Electrical and mechanical experience is a must preferably in an industrial environment
- Lubrication pneumatics piping/plumbing repair HVAC fundamentals belt replacement electrical schematics and troubleshooting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a nonclimatecontrolled environment
- Proficient use of technology computers and software including Microsoft Office suite of products
- Valid Drivers License required. Must be insurable with no major infractions
- Job requires daily verbal written and electronic communication
- You must always demonstrate excellent customer service skills
