Job Description
Blankenship Equipment Repairis a compacting and recycling business serving the Pacific Northwest and Canada. We are growing and have an opening for a shop helper to join our team.
This is an entry level position that offers opportunity for growth within our company.
In this role you will be assisting in the shop making deliveries assisting with sping unloading and doing some light welding/fabrication.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical abilities be comfortable working with hand and power tools and have a desire to build their skills for advancement.

Work Hours:Mon Fri 7:30 4p
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license and insurable driving record
- Experience driving delivery or box truck preferred
- Must pass preemployment drug and background screens
- Prior experience working in a shop or warehouse
- Experience working with hand tools
- Must be able to safely lift 75 lbs occasionally
- Experience welding fabricating torch cutting helpful
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Familiarity with OSHA safety rules
Pay Range:$20 $22 p/hr DOE
Benefits:
- 40Hours Vacation after 6months. 80Hours after one full year with incremental annual increases up to 4weeks.
- Health Insurance: Available after sixty days of employment. Company pays 75 of employee premium and 55 of dependents. Employees have the option of a Health Savings Account (HSA) program or a traditional Health Insurance program.
