Experienced RN Peds Adolescents
Position Highlights:
Status: FullTime
Shift: Days 7a7p
Schedule: 312 hour shifts with every 3rd weekend rotation
This job qualifies for a$15000 signon bonus provided the candidate meets the eligibility requirements!

Atrium Health Levine Childrens Brenner Childrens Hospital is the pediatric hospital within Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.Brenner is staffed by over 150 fulltime pediatric faculty with members representing over 30 pediatric subspecialties. In addition Brenner Childrens is staffed by physicians representing allpediatric surgical specialties.

What Youll Need:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- One year of RN experience; pediatric nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire for Adult Critical Care Adult ED
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire for Network ED Peds ED PICU and NICU and other areas per unit guidelines

As a Registered Nurse you will be the key architect of tailored care plans for patients school age to 21 years old. Your expertise in anatomy education and psychosocial aspects ensures topnotch care while prioritizing safety education and rest. Were united by the Family Centered Care Programs vision making your role truly impactful in healthcare. Your job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide patientcentered care utilizing the nursing process to address physical emotional spiritual cultural and environmental needs while adhering to WFBMC policies.
- Maintain a safe and healing environment respecting patient privacy and demonstrating professional conduct.
- Harness technology and equipment for enhanced patient and staff safety.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and throughout the care continuum.
- Engage in professional practice participating in shared governance adhering to care standards and promoting clinical excellence.
- Competently perform and manage pointofcare testing complying with regulations.
- Act as a patient advocate in all care settings including the community.
- Coordinate the delivery of patient care services efficiently identifying clinical priorities to improve outcomes.
- Embrace a professional practice model through shared governance fostering a healthy work environment and taking responsibility for personal professional growth.
