Candidate Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and successful completion of a Medical Technologist program
- Five years clinical lab experience
- Or two years clinical lab experience with Medical Lab Tech (MLT) certification
- Medical Technologist (MT) ASCP certification
- Previous experience as Medical Technologist preferred
- Effectively communicate with professional staff when discussing procedures.
We are currently seeking qualified Medical Technologists for the following locations/departments:
The Medical Technologist job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform and provide accurate laboratory test results on human patients.
- Prepare and issue blood components for patient transfusions.
- Assist in the collection and transport of patient samples from the clinics to laboratory sections.
- Requisition and maintain inventory of supplies materials and equipment as needed for laboratory operations.
- Supervise train and review the work of students and lower level technicians. Engage in clinical laboratory work.
- Operate complex specialized laboratory instruments; instruct other personnel in the use and operation of these instruments.
