Position Description: The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Childrens Wisconsin (CW) seeks a board certified or board eligible physician to join our expanding Pediatric Pulmonarysection. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned dedicated group of faculty & staff with a strong commitment to clinical care. The role is employed by the Medical College of Wisconsin and provides care at Childrens Wisconsin locations in Northeast Wisconsin (Appleton/Green Bay area). Both organizations are based in the Milwaukee area. The Medical College of Wisconsin pediatric specialty providers who work at the nationally ranked Childrens Wisconsin are members of Childrens Specialty Group a strong group practice of more than 680 elite pediatric specialty physicians advanced practice nurses & physician assistants. This position is located in Northeast Wisconsin (Appleton/Green Bay area) as part of an innovative collaboration between Childrens Wisconsin Bellin Health&ThedaCare. These topquality health care organizations are partnering to improve the health and wellbeing of children & adolescents in Northeast and Central Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan through joint venture called Connected for Kids. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with primary and specialty care providers at these organizations to improve patient outcomes. The connection between the organizations helps position our physicians to successfully support the needs of patients and their families. Childrens Wisconsin is an independent health care system dedicated solely to the health and wellbeing of children. The hospital with locations in Milwaukee and Northeast Wisconsin is recognized as one of the leading pediatric health care centers in the United States. Childrens Wisconsin provides primary care urgent care emergency care specialty care mental and behavioral health services community health services foster and adoption services child advocacy services and health insurance plans. Each year the Childrens Wisconsin team has more than 4 million touch points with kids and families through medical care advocacy research and education. In Northeast Wisconsin Childrens Wisconsin is expanding its services to provide increased access to outstanding pediatric subspecialty care. This includes a pediatric hospital with a Pediatric Unit Level III NICU and Infusion Center which is located at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah Wis. A multispecialty pediatric ambulatory clinic with onsite laboratory and radiology services opened in Appleton Wis. in 2023.
