Job Description
Join a Germanys leading online platform based in the city of Augsburg. You will work in small agile teams on performance optimization for comparison routes and develop new features. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious fullstack PHP Developer to join a professional team and continuously growing company with agile processes short decisionmaking paths and possibilities to make managerial career.
The company keeps the atmosphere of a small dynamic startup having the resources of a big corporation. Most of the technical decisions happen within a team.
Location: Augsburg Germany.
Type of contract: Permanent onsite.
Your tasks
- Further development of the overall system of the company Spanish site with exciting topics in the areas of search engine backend and back office system for customer service (Zend Framework / Laminas Symfony among others with RESTAPI MySQL Doctrine Elasticsearch).
- Implementation of innovative features and own ideas in direct cooperation with product management in order to offer the customers the best possible comparison platform.
- Improvement of company processes (continuous integration and Git Flow supported by Atlassian tools such as Jira Bitbucket and Bamboo).
- Optimization and scaling of the system objectoriented and in serviceoriented architecture on PHP 7.x basis using design patterns (MVC).
- Quality assurance through pair programming code reviews unit tests and Selenium.
- Link between the team in Germany and the product management and IT department in Spain.
Requirements
- Completed training as IT specialist or comparable training in IT or a degree in computer science.
- First experience in frontend or backend development basic knowledge in dealing with PHP JavaScript and CSS languages.
- Technology control: Symfony MySQL Zend (preferable) / Laminas Composer Angular HTML.
- Interest in web application development and a pragmatic approach.
- Distinct quality awareness you work with us independently and solutionoriented.
- You enjoy working in a team and you are communicative.
- Willingness to travel several times a year .
- Very good knowledge of German and English knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
