Description
The Systems Administrator will provide critical support for the NITES Next ISEA at NIWC Pacific in San Diego CA by maintaining and managing multiple networks and machines across various security levels from unclassified to TS/SCI. This role involves ensuring system availability security and performance as well as compliance with ATOs.
- Installing configuring and maintaining servers workstations and network devices
- Managing user accounts permissions and access controls across multiple security domains
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability
- Ensuring compliance with ATCs and ATOs for all systems and networks
- Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
- Performing regular system updates patches and backups
- Assisting with disaster recovery planning and incident response
- Providing technical support to endusers and collaborate with other team members
- Documenting system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps
- Staying updated on new technologies tools and best practices in systems administration
Environment: The Systems Administrator will work on a military base supporting a military team. The role requires adherence to military security protocols and handling of classified information including TS/SCI. The Systems Administrator must be able to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment and be available for oncall support as needed.

Requirements
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
- 5 years of experience in systems administration with a focus on military or government environments
- Strong understanding of network administration including unclassified SIPR and TS/SCI networks
- Experience with maintaining and troubleshooting multiple networks and machines across various security levels
- Proficient in Windows Server Linux and macOS administration
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV)
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
Desired Skills
- Experience with CANES
- Experience with NITESNext
- Familiarity with ATCs (Authority to Connect) and ATOs (Authority to Operate)
- Experience with Active Directory Group Policy and DNS
- Knowledge of firewalls routers and switches
- Familiarity with cloudbased solutions (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud)
- Experience with incident response and disaster recovery planning
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with militaryspecific systems and technologies
Clearance Information
SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL
