Requirements

**Background check is required and the interpreters will be compensated for this effort.



Therefore once you receive your Background Investigation final approval letter you will be paid compensation of $150 for completing the IRS security clearance process.



Additional Requirements:



• Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills
  


• Able to provide accurate interpretation
  


• Understanding of Deaf culture
  


• Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NADRID Code of Professional Conduct
  


• Three to five years of experience in interpreting (preferred but not required)
  


• As applicable state licensure or staterequired credentials
  


• Must pass the companys interpreting skills assessment
  


• You must be 18 years or older to apply.
