Job Description
The Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU HCOM is seeking Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine OMM physicians for inperson intermittent faculty teaching positions across the state of Ohio. Applicants should possess a strong desire to teach and advise osteopathic medical students within the curriculum and contribute to the success of the Heritage College through teaching and service. Candidates must have outstanding leadership management and interpersonal skills to relate to a diverse faculty staff students and community members. The successful applicant will have special interest and qualifications in the practice and teaching of osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine. RESPONSIBILITIES : Prepare and deliver curricular and other scholarly activities. Teach courses assigned to the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine OMM . Participate in the ongoing programs and program development of the Department of OMM including pre and postdoctoral training and other scholarly activities as appropriate. Teach the clinical application of osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine in ambulatory and hospitalbased practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an American Osteopathic Association AOA )approved osteopathic college by start date of position Satisfactory completion of an AOA approved internship and AOA approved residency program by start date of position Board eligible for or Board certified by the AOA Current or recent licensure by a state medical board
Preferred Qualifications
Additional certification or eligibility for certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine
