Raytheons Operations and Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for an early career Supplier Engineer who will be involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. You will provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance. You will be involved in all phases of product life cycles beginning with proposal development new product development advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementation. You will ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality cost and schedule. You will drive Raytheon design requirements to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. You will initiate continuous and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability.

This Supplier Engineer will join our Electrical group. You will support the Antenna Power and Network commodity. (Experience in one of these areas is desired but not required.

This position is an onsite role and can be located onsite in any of the following locations: Andover MA Tewksbury MA Marlborough MA Tucson AZ Forest MS McKinney TX El Segundo CA or Fullerton CA. Relocation assistance is not provided.

What You Will Do:

• Communicate and translate the technical data package to suppliers
• Conduct supplier engagements related to capability capacity opportunity and risk
• Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis
• Manage supplier requests for product and process changes
• Manage nonconforming product: Drive root cause and corrective action
• Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities
• Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders
• Support domestic travel as need (Approx 25

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors in STEM (Science Technology Engineering or Math) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience as below.
• Experience in at least one of the following: mechanical engineering electrical engineering manufacturing & quality systems or technical supplier management
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• BSEE or MSEE with experience with Antenna Power or Network commodities
• Experience with Manufacturing Engineering in a manufacturing / factory environment is strongly preferred
• Active DoD clearance
• Experience performing supplier assessments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this role is 66000 USD 130000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
