Overview

Chubb is looking for aDevOps Engineerto join our team. This is a permanent fulltime position and a compelling opportunity to join a global growing financially stable and successful company. You will play a pivotal role in streamlining our application delivery process through CI/CD automation. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a secure efficient CI/CD pipeline using industryleading tools like Jenkins Nexus and Ansible. Youll also champion a shift left security mindset working closely with developers to ensure quality and security are embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Design develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for automating application builds tests and deployments using tools like Jenkins and Ansible.
• Integrate security best practices and tools (e.g. SonarQube) into the CI/CD pipeline to identify and remediate vulnerabilities early in the development process.
• Foster a collaborative DevOps culture by working closely with developers to understand their needs and integrate automation effectively.
• Automate middleware deployment and configuration management using tools like Ansible.
• Champion operational stability and resilience by implementing monitoring alerting and disaster recovery solutions.
• Utilize strong scripting skills (Bash Python preferred) to develop and maintain automation scripts.
• Work effectively in an Agile development environment using Git version control (e.g. GitHub) for code management.
• Stay uptodate with the latest trends and innovations in DevOps tools and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience designing developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies (Agile GitOps etc..
• Experience integrating security tools (SAST DAST) into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience working with Azure cloud platform is a plus.
• Experience working in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
