Developmental and Brain Injury Division (DBIS)
Schedule: SundayThursday 3p11p
Were looking for inspiring team members who enjoy bringing out the best in people and are especially motivated to work with adults with Developmental Disabilities. Our DBIS staff are professional team members responsible for supporting each individuals right to live a safe enjoyable meaningful life at home and in the community. As cooperative team members we support environments that foster creative opportunities for the changing needs and desires of the people we serve.
- Work in multiple residential locations (Behavioral and/or Brain Injury) assigned by Director.
- Assists residents with ADLs (which may include the use of adaptive equipment); dining guidelines / protocols.
- Help prepare meals clean do laundry grocery shopping and help keep the home pleasant and comfortable.
- Transportation to/from appointments community events etc
- Complete daily shift notes data tracking and any other individual record keeping that may be assigned.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individual support goals.
- Administer medications (MAP Certified).
- Remain current on agency certifications / trainings.
- Other programmatic tasks assigned by the Program Director / Site Manager.
- Valid drivers license for a minimum of 6 months; and acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Medication Administration Certificate required.
- CPR / First Aid.
- Proactive Approaches to Behavioral Challenges (PABC Restraint Certificate).
- Physical ability to perform the requirements of this position and ensure residents safety.
- Basic computer/office skills.
- Background check (CORI).
- $21/hr: Base $18/hr $2/hr MAP certification differential $1/hr FLEX differentia
